Editorial Norma (collection of books)

Editorial Norma, founded in 1960, is one of the most important publishing houses in Latin America and part of Carvajal Educación, a division of the renowned Organización Carvajal. With a strong legacy in children’s and young adult literature, it has developed iconic collections such as Torre Amarilla and Torre Azul.

I’ve had the privilege of contributing to several projects published by Editorial Norma, including:

  • El Club de los Somnolientos & Lo que Hicieron los Alienígenas, by John Fitzgerald Torres: Two stories that explore the limits of reality and imagination. El Club de los Somnolientos challenges perceptions through the lens of dreams, while Lo que Hicieron los Alienígenas, winner of the 2019 Norma Award for Children’s and Young Adult Literature, blends science fiction with a reflection on child migration.

  • El Caso del Mamotreto Escarlata, by Francisco Leal Quevedo: A gripping mystery novel featuring a group of young detectives.

  • No te Alejes, by David Machado: A heartfelt story about friendship and resilience in difficult times.

  • El Bonche, by Agustín Godoy: A vibrant narrative that captures the energy and emotions of youth.
